A summer of karaoke fun will conclude at Kern County Fair with one final competition on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. Eight weeks of fierce competition has come down to thirty-one finalists vying for the titles of Male and Female Vocalist of the Year; and the $500 award per category. The show promises to be a stellar one, with a variety of age groups and music preferences sure to please the diverse crowd.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on the Three-Way Chevrolet Stage (behind Exhibit Building 3) on the Kern County Fairgrounds. The input of singers everywhere would be greatly appreciated; especially those that are close enough to drop by the event. If you're too far for travel, please know that we're doing everything we can to broadcast the event Live on the Karaoke Cam, but Internet Speed is challenging at this point. We will update the site with a recorded version similar to the finals braodcast as soon as possible after the event.

Just a note- voting for KJ of the Year, Location of the Year and Best Song Selection has now been closed online, but the online input will be taken into account. Votes will now be restricted to voting at the event on September 24th.
